Theodore man arrested after police say he fired shots toward hotel

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Theodore man was arrested after he allegedly fired shots toward a hotel Tuesday afternoon, according to the Mobile Police Department.

Officers with MPD responded to OYO Hotel, 400 W. I-65 Service Road South, at around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14, after receiving reports of shots fired.

LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they reportedly discovered a male suspect, later identified as 32-year-old Adrian Jamal Dixon of Theodore, on the third floor of the hotel with a firearm.

Upon further investigation, officers found that Dixon had fired shots toward the building, with at least one of the shots striking a room, an MPD news release said.

No injuries were reported in the incident, according to police.

Dixon was arrested and taken to the Metro Jail on charges of discharging a gun into an occupied/unoccupied building.
