Thank you Brie Larson, for posting the world’s most relateable zit pic

The biggest pimples without fail crop up when you want them least. Your skin always looks perfect on those nights you’re staying home to watch Freeform shows, and a zit always magically appears right before an interview/date/super photographed event (like a wedding).

Well stars, they’re just like us, and even Brie Larson is not immune to a pesky pimple at a super inconvenient time. Also, because she’s Brie Larson, she was able to make a joke about it — and now we love her even more than before.

It seems our girl Brie was walking the carpet at BAMCinemaFest, and yeah(!) she had a pimple. And yeah(!) her picture was taken 25 million times.

So she did what you have to to in these situations, she laughed about it. “When you’re stressing/obsessing over a zit so you put on too much zit cream before bed and wake up to giant dry spot but you gotta get your photo taken anyway,” she wrote on Instagram. We totally get it, Brie.

We love images like this, when stars remind us that those perfect pictures we’re inundated with are Photoshopped, filtered, and tweaked to perfection. The reality is every single one of us obsesses over pimples, and those perfect photos we see are often covering up a whole host of blemishes. So hats off to Brie for reminding us not every second is perfection, and a giant dry spot from too much pimple cream is kind of par for the course.
