Teen dead after shooting near Goodlettsville trailer park, police say

GOODLETTSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) is pursuing active leads after a teen was shot and killed near a mobile home park off Dickerson Pike Friday night.

According to MNPD, the shooting happened at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12 near the entrance of the Trailmont Mobile Home Park located in the 100 block of Walnut Drive.

Authorities said the preliminary investigation “strongly indicates” that 16-year-old Emanuel Delgado was fatally shot by someone he knew.

The deadly incident remains under investigation by MNPD’s Homicide Unit and Specialized Investigations Division TITANS detectives, officials said.

No other information was immediately released.
