Teen accused of bringing gun to Albuquerque charter school will stay in custody

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County District Attorney says a 16-year-old girl accused of bringing a gun to a charter school will remain in custody until trial. Investigators believe the teen took the gun to Ace Leadership High School near 12th St and Bellamah Ave. on Tuesday to sell it to a classmate.

They say they also found at least 60 rounds of ammo and a knife in the classmate’s backpack. Both are charged with carrying a deadly weapon onto school premises.
