Teacher of the Week: Vicki Beard
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Vicki Beard, who teaches physical education at Wall Elementary, is The Concho Valley Homepage Teacher of the Week for Friday, April 12.
She has been teaching at Wall for 25 years and is described as a very dedicated teacher who creates a strong foundation for Wall athletes and students as a whole. Beard teaches her students hard work, confidence and dedication. It is thanks to her that the Wall Hawks compete at a high level in athletics.
When asked if she had any wise words of wisdom to share with the public
“Just to stay busy and keep moving. Exercise and take care of yourself and have fun doing it,” she said. “You know, get friends and go exercise together and go running together and work out and play and go outside. Go outside and be.”
