Taiwan President Tsai briefed on damage caused by strong earthquake and rescue operation

Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen was briefed on Wednesday after the country's strongest earthquake in nearly 25 years damaged buildings and left at least nine people dead. Taiwan’s earthquake monitoring agency said the quake was 7.2 magnitude while the U.S. Geological Survey put it at 7.4.
