Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill suffers damage to kitchen in early Saturday fire

OWENS CROSS ROADS, Ala. (WHNT) — Huntsville Fire and Rescue responded to an early morning fire at Tailgater Sports Bar & Grill.

The fire happened around 4:30 a.m. Saturday at the bar off of Old Highway 431.

‘It was a tragic beginning, but the ending has been very sweet’: Baker looks back as she prepares to open first storefront

According to the bar owners, the kitchen suffered severe damage and the rest of the bar suffered smoke damage. They said it could take several months to fully recover.

Huntsville Fire and Rescue told News 19 that no one was seriously injured in the fire but that one firefighter did need medical attention.
