Suspected DUI driver arrested after police say they were 3 times over BAC legal limit

(FOX40.COM) — A suspected DUI driver from Lathrop was arrested Thursday night after their blood-alcohol content was allegedly more than three times the legal limit.

The Lathrop Police Department said an officer was patrolling around 11:45 p.m. on Harlan Road when he saw a vehicle crashed into a light pole.

Police said the driver allegedly showed signs of being under the influence. The driver took a breathalyzer test, which resulted in a BAC of 0.259, according to a photo shared by police.

The breathalyzer results were over 3 times the legal limit of .08.

No one else was injured in the crash and the driver was arrested and booked into jail, police said.
