Suspect slashed man in the face in Rockefeller Center subway station: NYPD

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A stranger slashed a man in the face while he was buying a MetroCard in the Rockefeller Center subway station on Monday, police said.

The suspect attacked the 24-year-old victim from behind while he was at the kiosk at the 47-50 Street-Rockefeller Center subway station at around 12:20 a.m., according to the NYPD. The victim suffered a severe cut to the right side of the face and taken to the hospital for treatment, police said.

The man ran out of the subway station after the incident. There have been no arrests.
