Suspect sentenced to 10 years for pulling gun during Abilene road rage incident

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A suspect accused of pulling a gun on a victim and his wife during a road rage incident in Abilene has been sentenced to serve 10 years in prison.

Beanest Bogany received his 10 year prison sentence after pleading guilty to two counts of Aggravated Assault last week.

Court documents state a victim reported he honked at Bogany in August 2020 because he had not moved his vehicle from a stop sign for a long time.

Bogany allegedly got upset at this, because the documents state he then raised a gun in the air and later pointed at the victim and his wife after he drove up next to them.

When he was contacted at his workplace, the documents state Bogany was acting nervous and told police “people are always out to get him” and that he would just deal with the charges against him if a case was filed.
