Showers, threat for storms in forecast for Memorial Day weekend

Whether you’re headed to a Memorial Day parade, grilling out, gardening or just hanging out this weekend, have a way to stay “weather aware.”

Showers and the threat for storms are in the forecast.

Right now, the weekend looks to start dry with afternoon and evening showers and storms developing. Any storm that develops could bring damaging winds, heavy downpours and hail.

Sunday may be the pick of the weekend for outdoor plans, with mainly dry weather and warm temperatures.

Memorial Day brings another threat for showers and storms, but the day does not look like a washout. Similar to Monday may start dry but includes afternoon and evening storms.
