Sunny skies return Thursday as temperatures remain in 70s

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — A weak front moved through the region Wednesday afternoon that brought a few scattered showers but nothing significant.

Sunny skies will be back Thursday with highs in the low- to mid-70s.

More of the same is on the way for Friday with partly to mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-70s with perhaps a stray shower. The weekend looks dry for the most part with highs remaining in the mid to upper-70s.

Warmer temperatures are expected for the start of next week with highs pushing into the low-80s with sunny skies on Monday and possible showers on Tuesday.
