Sunday Conversation: Piedmont Columbus Regional CEO Scott Hill sits down to talk construction, more

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — As Piedmont Columbus Regional moves deeper into an $80 million Midtown campus construction project, CEO Scott Hill sat down with WRBL for an exclusive Sunday Conversation.

Piedmont Columbus Regional is part of the 19-hospital statewide Piedmont healthcare system.

Major upgrades to the hospital’s main tower and Intensive Care Unit started this month and will continue for the next 18 to 24 months.

Upgrades to Piedmont’s ICU would not have been possible without another hospital expansion just yards away, Hill added. The $30 million project at the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital has provided Piedmont with the opportunity to expand their adult care while children are moved to the only freestanding hospital in the Chattahoochee Valley.
