Summer-like for Memorial Day weekend, with a chance of showers and storms
(PINPOINT WEATHER) — It’s feeling like summer, just as it “unofficially” kicks off this weekend!
We’ll be feeling plenty of heat and some humidity through early next week. We may officially hit 90 at Charlotte for the first time this year!

The question is — what about rain chances? The answer: No washouts for Saturday and Sunday, but spotty showers and storms will develop in the afternoon heating of the day. Don’t cancel any outside activities, just know that you may have to head indoors for a bit if that storm pops up! Be safe out there!
We’ll see a slightly better chance of more rain and storms Memorial Day Monday as a cold front moves in.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. PM showers and storms possible. High 88.
Sunday: Partly cloudy with a few PM storms. 68/91.
Memorial Day: Scattered showers and storms move in. 72/90.
