Students help clean up flower beds in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– Students from Harrisburg Academy closed out a community service project this week.

That started earlier this spring in midtown to clean up the public flower beds around the city. Volunteers spread mulch and pulled weeds across from the Broad Street Market.

“The students were working on the flower bed in front of the market which is a very high profile area pulling weeds and spreading mulch which is just their way and our way of pitching in and helping,” Executive Director David Morrison said.
