Strong storms remain over the Midwest while we bask in sun & clouds

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Watching the tail end of a weak front that is pushing into north Georgia this evening. A few light showers could move into our northern counties late tonight, but nothing more than a light sprinkle.

Forecast for the rest of the week remains largely unchanged as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 80s. While this may seem very warm, records are well into the lower 90s for this time of year.

A few light stray showers are possible Friday and Saturday, but the best day to see measurable rainfall comes Sunday as the front moves in.

Cooler for the start of the new work week with temperatures in the low 70s and mostly sunny. Throughout next week, temperatures rebound quickly back to the upper 70s to mid 80s.
