Strong storms expected Tuesday, with cooler air on the way

ST. LOUIS — A warm and windy day Tuesday, with highs in the low 80s. By the afternoon, we’ll be tracking rain and thunderstorms. Some storms will be strong to severe. While the highest threat for severe weather is across northeast Missouri and western Illinois, we are just south of that zone and should be paying attention to changing weather conditions. Storms could bring hail, damaging winds, and the chance for a tornado.
