Stray bull returned to owner in Mundelein; police call bovine 'repeat offender'

MUNDELEIN, Ill. - A bull that got loose Monday morning in Mundelein was returned to its owner with police referring to it as a "repeat offender."

The Mundelein Police Department posted two photos to Facebook around 8 a.m. of the bull standing in someone's yard at an unspecified address in a residential neighborhood.

As of 11 a.m., the bull was returned to its owner in unincorporated Mundelein, according to police

It was not immediately clear how the bull pulled off its escape to a residential neighborhood.
