FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: Carroll Electric Cooperative Corporation has said they have enacted the Emergency Restoration Plan.

The plan puts safety first as they will restore power in the shortest time possible.

“If anyone sees fallen power lines, please stay clear of those lines and notify Carroll Electric immediately by calling 1-800-432-9720.”

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: Madison County has reported more than 1,000 without power. Benton County has nearly 70,000 people without power.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Strong storms and possible tornado touchdowns in NWA have caused more than 19,000 customers without power as of 2:15 a.m.

As of 2:22 a.m. more than 59,000 customers are without power.
