New stores coming to DCA include LEGO, Mi Vida, more
ARLINGTON, Va. (DC News Now) — A total of 15 different stores will be opening in two D.C.-area airports, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) announced.
MWAA said that construction will start at Reagan National Airport (or DCA) and Dulles International Airport (or IAD) in 2024.
This is part of a program that will redevelop over 80 concessions at both of these airports.

DCA will be getting seven new stores, including the following local names: Nalley Fresh, a Maryland-based restaurant chain; Eastern Market, which will carry travel essentials and pay homage to the Eastern Market on Capitol Hill; Mi Vida, a D.C.-based restaurant with a menu rooted in Mexican tradition; and Solid State Books, a D.C.-based and Black-owned independent bookstore in the H Street Corridor.

MWAA said that construction for these stores will go on at the same time as construction to upgrade Terminal 2 as part of DCA Reimagined.
