Stock the Pantry with Baldwin EMC

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — As school cafeterias close for the summer, many children are left without nutritious meals.

Mark Ingram with Baldwin EMC joined WKRG’s Stock the Pantry campaign, a partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast to help ensure children are fed during the summertime.

Ingram shared that more than 100,000 students along the Gulf Coast and more than 10,000 students in the Baldwin County School System are food insecure.

Baldwin EMC is collecting easily accessible food such as granola bars, canned soup and peanut butter. Donations are accepted until April 29.
