Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians donates $396,700 to local first responders

The Stillaguamish Tribe of Indians donated $396,700 to local first responders, announced the Tribe in a news release on Thursday.

“Our Tribe is committed to supporting our neighbors in their time of need,” Tribal Chairman of the Stillaguamish Tribe Eric White said.

The Tribe donated $200,000 to the Snohomish County Fire District #21 which provides service for Arlington and Darrington. Another $196,700 was given to the Snohomish County Fire District #25 which covers Granite Falls and Monroe.

“These donations will help support the important work that these organizations do in our community during times of emergencies,” said the news release. “We applaud the Stillaguamish Tribe for their generosity and support of our community’s first responders. Thank you!”
