This Streetwise roundup features updates from Mission Coffee House, two local restaurants that have recently joined DoorDash and a popular downtown restaurant that is now offering online ordering.

What's new at Mission Coffee House?

Mission Coffee House has had a couple of updates in the last few weeks.

The coffee shop inside Artist & Fare at 1800 Plover Road in Plover has extended its weekday hours into the evening. Mission Coffee House is now open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

If you're looking to buy and brew your own Mission coffee at home, you can now find bags of fresh roasted Mission coffee at Dairy State Cheese in Rudolph. Mission Coffee House announced Tuesday the new retail partnership where people can pick up their fresh cheese curds and roasted coffee all in one place.

Two local restaurants join DoorDash

A couple of local restaurants have announced this month that they are open on DoorDash.

On April 8, Dilly Dahl Deli announced it opened on DoorDash. Dilly Dahl Deli operates at 2300 Strongs Ave. in Stevens Point and recently started accepting orders for a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch items from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. The business also offers corporate lunch and event catering services. Its menu includes macaroni and cheese, a BBQ pulled pork sandwich, salads, wraps, sandwiches and more. Two days later, Legacy Family Restaurant announced its partnership with DoorDash. Legacy Family Restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner, including pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, eggs benedict, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, egg rolls, chicken strips, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, lasagna, spaghetti, fish fries and more. Legacy Family Restaurant is open from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday and from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday at 5110B Main St. in Stevens Point. The Wooden Chair adds online ordering

You can now order your favorite menu items from The Wooden Chair online. The restaurant announced the new ordering option Thursday morning on Facebook.

"As we continue to cherish the rich history that seasons every corner of this place, we're thrilled to announce a historic new chapter," the post said.

People can order online at https://order.toasttab.com/online/the-wooden-chair-1059-main-st and pick up their meals from 1059 Main St. in downtown Stevens Point. Orders can be placed while the restaurant is open, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Customers can order from a breakfast and lunch menu including items like omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, oatmeal, fruit, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, salads, soups and more.

If you need help ordering or have questions while placing an online order, call 715-341-1133. According to the website, The Wooden Chair will add delivery options soon.
