Steve’s Setlist: Cooler for the weekend

After several warm days this week, the cool air makes a triumphant return… just in time for the weekend. At least rain chances as of now look pretty slim, so we’ll still be able to enjoy a cooler stretch of weather.

Track 1
Way Down We Go by KALEO
A back door cool front drops into the region and our temperatures will take a hit on Friday. The east-northeast wind will pin our temperatures for most in the 60s. This cool, salty air will stick around for the weekend as well, as we expect highs in the 60s through Saturday and Sunday.

Track 2
Where Is My Mind? by The Pixies
While we’re all cooling off for the weekend, Friday will really depend on where you are in town. Those along the immediate waters edge of the Atlantic and Chesapeake Bay, could have temperatures pinned in the upper 50s! Whereas farther inland locations away from the waterways could see highs climb into the 70s.

Track 3
Grey Street by Dave Matthews Band
Clouds will take over by Saturday, unfortunately, as another weakening cool front drops in. A few light showers will pass through the region from the morning hours into early afternoon, but rain chances look pretty slim. High temperatures will be stuck on either side of 60° with the lack of sunshine. We’ll fortunately get some more sun early on Sunday as it stays cool.

Temperatures are expected to rebound next week after a shot of rain is possible late Sunday night into Monday.
