State Police seek public’s help in finding fugitive

MOUNT AETNA, Pa. (WHTM) – State troopers are searching for a man they say led them on a police chase Tuesday and are seeking the public’s assistance.

The Pennsylvania State Police at Jonestown said a white Hispanic man fled in a teal Jeep Renegade in Berks County.

He is described as 5’9″, 32 years old, wearing all black clothing with a black backpack.

His SUV has Florida plates, JJGD22.

Troopers are asking residents in the Mount Aetna area to review any security cameras they have between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, looking for a man meeting that description.

He is believed to have walked in the area of Apple, East Market, and other side streets in the village.

Anyone with information should call Trooper Lehner at the Jonestown barracks at 717-865-5067.
