LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Michigan State Police have arrested an Owosso man on child porn charges.

According to police, Daniel Leonard Herrick, 56, now faces felony charges including one count of aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, one count of distribution of child sexually abusive material, and one count of using a computer to commit a crime.

State Police used its Computer Crimes Unit and Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force to investigate the alleged crimes. The deputies also took digital evidence from Herrick’s home when they arrested him.
