State Patrol: One dead, another airlifted following crash in Manitowoc County

SAINT NAZIANZ, Wis. (WFRV) – The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating a crash involving a semi-truck that left one person dead and another injured.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, on April 16 around 9:30 a.m., a crash happened on CTH F at Marken Road in Manitowoc County near Saint Nazianz. Officials say that one person died and another was injured in the crash.

The release says that a car was driving southbound on Maken Road and did not yield at the stop sign at CTH F. A semi was driving westbound on CTH F and hit the car that did not allegedly stop.

The semi reportedly overturned and the 63-year-old man who was driving died. The driver of the vehicle, only identified as a 20-year-old woman, was airlifted to a hospital in Neenah.

The crash is reportedly still under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
