If the perpetually long line at your local Starbucks is starting to get to you, you'll be excited to know that the massive size of the coffee chain's newest location might come with enough baristas to alleviate that daily annoyance. On Wednesday, Starbucks announced its plan to open a new Reserve Roastery in an "iconic retail space" on Chicago's Magnificent Mile, on the corner of North Michigan Avenue and Erie Street. The "fully sensorial coffee environment" will be four stories tall and 43,000 square feet, offering a wide selection of brewing methods and beverages, as well as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and freshly baked goodies by Italian baker Rocco Princi. The Chicago Reserve Roastery is slated to open in 2019.

"Having opened our first Starbucks store in Chicago nearly 30 years ago, our first outside of Seattle, this is a very special city for me. At the time, it was a true test for Starbucks because the Chicago customer is so savvy and discerning about their coffee," Howard Schultz, Starbucks executive chairman, said in a statement. "Chicago is a city of neighborhoods, so we took our time to find an incredible space to match the unprecedented coffee experience our premium Roastery will offer. To be located on one of the best-known retail streets in the world is a proud moment for all of us and we can't wait to bring Chicago and the world a coffee experience worthy of their most premier real estate."

The Chicago location will be the third Roastery in the country when it opens in 2019—the first opened in Seattle in 2014, and the second is scheduled to open in New York City in 2018. International Roasteries are also on the way to Shanghai, Milan, and Tokyo, with plans to open 20 to 30 over time.
