Star Wars' entire Skywalker Saga 4K limited edition boxset is back in stock

Star Wars is on a break from the big screen for now after The Rise of Skywalker wrapped up the Skywalker Saga in December 2019, but we know that three new movies are on the way which could revive the Skywalker Saga.

We don't yet know when those movies will arrive, but there's never a bad time to catch up on or rewatch the entire Skywalker Saga.

If you fancy doing just that, we've got the best way for you to do it as all nine 'main' movies – not including Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story, sorry – are in an limited edition 4K boxset.

The epic 27-disc boxset was previously an Amazon exclusive, but can now be bought from Amazon, Zavvi and HMV among other stores. It is now priced at £249.99, £50 more than the original £199.99 retail price though.

It marks the first time that the Skywalker Saga has been available in 4K in one complete collection.

In case you need reminding, the Skywalker Saga (in chronological order) is: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker.

Of course, once you own the huge boxset, your dilemma will be what order you're going to rewatch the series in. Will you go in release date order? Chronological order? Or the long-favoured Machete Order?

The extensive special features go behind-the-scenes into the production of each movie, and the 4K boxset also comes with a thank you letter from Mark Hamill (not personalised, unfortunately).

If you haven't got a 4K player though, you can also own a complete Skywalker Saga boxset on Blu-ray and DVD for the current price of £62.39 and £39.99, respectively.

You might also not fancy owning all nine movies and want to focus on your favourite trilogy instead. There are boxsets available for the prequel trilogy, original trilogy and sequel trilogy, only on DVD or Blu-ray format though, not 4K.

Prequel trilogy: DVD (£10.75) | Blu-ray (£14.95)
Original trilogy: DVD (£14.29) | Blu-ray (£14.95)
Sequel trilogy:
DVD (£14.07) | Blu-ray (£14.99)

You can also still buy Solo: A Star Wars Story on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K, as well as Rogue One: A Star Wars Story on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K.

Equally, you can watch them all on Disney+ if you don't want a physical copy. The streaming service also has Rogue One and Solo to enjoy, as well as Star Wars TV shows such as The Bad Batch, Rebels, The Mandalorian and Ahsoka.

If you're not a subscriber to Disney+, you can sign up from £4.99 a month with adverts. If you don't want adverts, you can pay £7.99 a month for Standard or £10.99 a month for Premium, which comes with 4K, Dolby Atmos and HDR support.

Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is out now on 4K, Blu-ray and DVD, as well as every movie being available to watch on Disney+.
