UPDATE: All St. Landry Parish public schools to reopen Friday

UPDATE: ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)– All St. Landry Parish School District schools will reopen Friday, April 12. Power has been restored to all schools.

UPDATE: ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)– Power has been restored to Park Vista Elementary and Grolee Elementary. Classes will resume for both schools Friday, April 12.

ORIGINAL: ST. LANDRY PARISH, La. (KLFY)– All but two schools in the St. Landry Parish School District will reopen for students on Friday.

The schools that will remain closed are:

  • Northeast Elementary

  • Park Vista Elementary

The teachers at the listed schools are instructed to upload learning material and assignments to Google Classroom. Pre-K registration intake at the schools that will be closed will take place at the St. Landry Parish School Board Resource Center, and parents are asked to go there for their scheduled appointment time.
