South Korea cautions Japan on easing military limits

SEOUL (Reuters) - South Korea said on Tuesday it would not accept Japan's exercise of collective self-defense that affects the security of the Korean peninsula without its request or agreement, after Tokyo moved to drop a ban on its military from fighting overseas. South Korea's foreign ministry also urged Japan to ensure regional peace and stability in formalizing an end to the ban on the use of its military abroad. (Reporting by Ju-min Park and Jack Kim)
