Putin’s guy

One thing you can count on is that Vladimir Putin has Donald Trump in his corner and, by default, the yelling non-thinking part of the GOP, such as Marjorie Taylor Greene and Matt Gaetz.

What not to do

Holding a baby while driving is beyond stupid. Driving a golf cart on a public street is stupid. Holding a baby in one arm while driving a golf cart one-handed? I have no words.

Projection

I continue to be in awe of the way Donald Trump’s supporters overlook everything negative about their cult leader. A Sound Off writer criticizes President Biden for saying bad things about Trump. We all have heard and seen Trump criticize anyone who is not a member of his cult. He likes to call them derogatory names. Remember when he made fun of the disabled journalist by imitating him? Is that what you want your children to see? It’s called “projection,” and it means accusing other people of negative characteristics that you yourself have.

Believe him

If you think Donald Trump only wants to be dictator for one day, you haven’t been listening to him or watching him admiring dictators. Bedsides, who wants a president who would even say they would be a dictator any amount of time? He chose his words. Nobody can interpret them because you can’t read his mind.

Taxes

I’m considered middle-class and I didn’t get a big tax break under Donald Trump. I want a refund.

Think larger

If you only vote for candidates that promise things that benefit you, then what does that say about you? There are so many local, national and global issues to consider.

Why above ground?

Mississippi Power disclosed it is replacing wooden poles with steel and concrete ones to help weatherproof them during hurricane seasons. Seems a better use of the money, and I assume it is a large sum, would better be used putting as many lines as possible underground, like most new subdivisions around us are doing.
