Someone did donuts on the grass at SLO park. And police want to know who
Someone took a joy ride at a San Luis Obispo Park this weekend — leaving behind what looked like crop circles in the grass.
A vandal damaged the turf at the Santa Rosa Park softball field over the weekend, the San Luis Obispo Police Department said in a post on X.
A photo shows multiple large circles cut into the grass on the ball field, which appear to be caused by a driver doing donuts on the turf.
A city parks maintenance employee spotted the vandalism on Monday morning, police said.
Those with information about the incident can call the chief security officer at 805-594-8014 or Crime Stoppers at 805-549-STOP.
