Simone Biles and Kim Kardashian West Take a Selfie at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards

When the U.S. women's gymnastics team (minus Gabby Douglas) made their MTV Video Music Awards debut presenting the award for Best Female Video Sunday night in New York, the final five got to walk the white carpet and meet some of their idols, including selfie queen Kim Kardashian West.
At an appearance the day before at the Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital, five-time gold medalist Simone Biles had said, "I have planned tomorrow at the VMAs to meet Kim Kardashian, and then I'm gonna send her daughter some ."

The champion gymnast took a selfie with the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, who took to Snapchat to share the cute shot, along with an image of her posing with Biles and teammates Laurie Hernandez, Aly Raisman, and Madison Kocian in a group photo.

Biles wasn't the only member of the final five to get a close-up with a member of the Kardashian-West clan.

Hernandez took to Twitter to share a selfie with Kim's husband Kanye West, who presented his music video for "Fade" that evening.

She hilariously captioned the selfie, "I love Kanye more than Kanye loves Kanye."
