Silver Alert canceled: Police locate missing vulnerable adult

EPPING — Police have located a 21-year-old Epping woman reported missing by her family.

The woman had last been seen Wednesday, April 24, around 8:50 p.m., at her residence on Jenness Road in Epping. Police said she walked away from her home, and it was "unknown if she was picked up in a vehicle or if she remained on foot."

State police authorized the activation of the Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert/SILVER Alert System Thursday morning at the request of Epping police. By Thursday night, police reported the missing woman had been located.

Police issue silver alerts when the missing person is considered to be vulnerable. The woman, according to her family, was diagnosed with autism, ADHD and anxiety, and has a diminished mental capacity.
