Sheriff: Missing at-risk woman last seen in San Leandro

(KRON) — Authorities are asking the community’s help in locating a missing woman out of the East Bay, the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) said. Laurie Allanson was last seen at her care facility on the 2000 block of Sol Street in San Leandro.

Allanson walked away from the facility between 7:30 p.m. on Sunday and 6:35 a.m. Monday, authorities said. She has dementia and “may not be able to find her way back,” the sheriff’s office said.

She is 5-foot-8 with brown hair and brown eyes. ACSO said Allanson weighs 210 pounds and was last seen wearing cheetah print “onesie” pajamas.
