Sheffield City Schools, local restaurant to host ‘Dining for Dollars’ campaign

SHEFFIELD, Ala. (WHNT) — Get some dinner and see celebrity waiters at The Red Clay Table to help students in Sheffield!

Sheffield City Schools Center of the Shoals Campaign is set to host Dining for Dollars, a celebrity waiting event, in downtown Sheffield on Thursday, May 15, from 5-8 p.m.

The restaurant is pledging 25% of its sales during the three-hour dinner span to Sheffield City Schools to help them with the purchase of new digital signage at three of the schools in the system.

Celebrity waiters will compete against each other to earn the most tips, which will also be donated to the schools.

Desserts will also be prepared by the Sheffield High School Culinary Department and will be available for sale.
