Sewer leak victims may get break on rate hike
Wichita Falls residents who had a sewer leak during December through March may experience an increase in sewer rates for the year.
The city said in a press release if the customer repaired the leak or had it done by a plumber, the rate can be adjusted.
Affected customers must take a copy of the invoice from the plumber or receipts for parts along with a written explanation of work done to the Utility Collections Office.
The office is located at 800 Indiana Ave. during renovation of City Hall, or email it to utility-collections@wichitafallstx.gov.
Deadline is April 30.
