Severe thunderstorm watch issued for parts of Central Texas Thursday: NWS
Update: The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch for parts of Central Texas. The watch will be in place until 5 p.m. Thursday. Hail and damaging winds will be the main risks but an isolated tornado can't be ruled out, the weather service said.

More severe weather is on the way, Austin.
Thunderstorms are expected to move into Central Texas around 1 p.m. Thursday, bringing rain, damaging winds and the chance for large to very large hail to the area, according to the National Weather Service office at Camp Mabry. Chances for rain are 80%, and one to two inches of rainfall are expected, adding the possibility of flooding.
The high Thursday is 83 degrees, and the low is 68.
Luckily, the wet weather is expected to subside by Friday. Conditions are expected to be partly sunny, with a high of 86. The low is 68 degrees on Friday.

Sunny days expected in Austin this weekend, NWS says
Saturday is expected to be sunny, with a high of 93 degrees and a low of 71. Conditions are nearly identical Sunday.
Monday and Tuesday are also expected to be sunny. Monday's high is 94 degrees and its low is 75, and Tuesday's high is 96 degrees with a low of 76.
Wednesday is partly sunny, with a high around 93.
