Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued in area

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for several counties in the News Channel 3 viewing area.

The warning was issued at 4:36 and extends until 5:15. A severe thunderstorm was located just east of Collierville.

Counties included are: Shelby, Fayette, Hardeman, Chester and Marshall.

Quarter-sized hail and wind gusts up to 60 mps are possible.
