Several injured in northeast Las Vegas valley shooting, fight on Easter

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Several people were injured in a shooting and fight that occurred Easter evening in the northeast Las Vegas valley.

Around 6:20 on Sunday, Las Vegas police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2100 block of Pecos Road near Lake Mead Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. He was taken to a local hospital where he is in stable condition, police said.

Officers also found two men and a woman with injuries to their heads that they sustained during a fight at the scene of the shooting. Police said all three people were hit in the head with an unknown blunt object. One of the men and the woman were taken to a local hospital.

The condition of the two men and the woman are unknown at this time.
