Seth Meyers to film stand-up special in Chicago this summer

CHICAGO — Ever want to be in attendance for the filming of a stand-up comedy special? Well, now you have your chance.

The host of the “Late Night” talk show on NBC, Seth Meyers will record his next stand-up comedy special at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on Saturday, June 15.

Meyers, who broke into the main stream after being the head writer at “Saturday Night Live,” took over the Late Night talk show from Jimmy Fallon after he moved over to hosting “The Tonight Show” in 2014. He also previously hosted the Golden Globe Awards in 2014 and 2018.

His last stand-up comedy special “Seth Meyers: Lobby Baby” premiered on Netflix in 2019.

The Vic Theatre is located at 3145 N. Sheffield Ave in Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood.

The events will begin at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 15.
