Franklin man, 90, killed after two-vehicle crash on Interstate 495 in Milford

MILFORD A 90-year-old Franklin man died after a two-vehicle crash late Friday morning on Interstate 495, authorities said.

The man, whom authorities did not identify, was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the crash, which occurred in the southbound side of the highway.

MassDOT, on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, said the incident required the left lane of the road to be closed.

The Milford Fire Department responded, although Fire Chief Mark Nelson referred calls to the state police.
