Series of cannabis events at Cal Expo Sacramento on ‘420’ are fake, officials say

(FOX40.COM) — Officials at Cal Expo are warning event-goers about three marijuana-themed festivals that are falsely advertised to happen at the fairgrounds on April 20.

“Beware of websites claiming to be holding events taking place at Cal Expo – they’re not real,” Cal Expo officials said.

New marijuana laws in California to protect employees take effect in 2024

They referred to the “Sacramento Cannabis Cup,” “420 California Culture,” and “Four Twenty Island Vibes Festival” which they said are fake.

Officials said that all legit Cal Expo events can reportedly be found at calexpostatefair.com.
