Seneca motorcyclist killed in crash

Feb. 29—A 22-year-old motorcyclist from Seneca was killed in a three-vehicle crash at 5:03 p.m. Tuesday on Missouri Highway 86, a mile south of Redings Mill in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Nicholas M. Glover was pronounced dead at the scene by a Newton County deputy coroner, the state patrol said.

Glover was northbound on a motorcycle and was attempting to pass another vehicle into oncoming traffic on a curve when he sideswiped a Kia Sportage driven by Karen Parks, 62, of Joplin, and then collided head-on with a Dodge Caravan driven by Angela K. Jackson, 53, of Neosho, the patrol said.
