Selena Gomez debuts blonde hair, plus more AMAs highlights
Selena Gomez has a new look! The 25-year-old singer surprised fans on the red carpet of the 2017 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 19, where she debuted her new blonde tresses. Selena, who arrived without her boyfriend Justin Bieber, stunned fans as she showed off her edgier look, which she paired with a black leather biker dress by Coach.
The Hands to Myself singer is no stranger when it comes to changing up her look, taking her hair from long to shoulder length to the lob that she has been sporting for the last year. However, this is the first time the Disney Channel alum has changed her hair color completely. Selena celebrated her new look on Instagram writing, “So I am blonde now."

Selena's dramatic makeover came at the perfect time as she made her return to the stage. The AMAs marked the pop star's first performance since she underwent a kidney transplant earlier this year. The 13 Reasons Why executive producer delivered an emotional performance of her latest single Wolves, joined by DJ Marshmello and female dancers on stage.

Ahead of her highly-anticipated performance, Selena shared a clip of herself rehearsing for the American Music Awards. Alongside the video she penned, "My first performance in over a year.. the AMAs have been a place where I’ve shared some of my most intimate moments. Heart wants what it wants, after treatment and now Wolves. This Sunday."
