Missing 12-year-old Charlotte girl with autism found safe, CMPD says

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 12-year-old girl who is autistic has gone missing and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating her.

Samaia Brown was last seen near 4700 Hidden Valley Road in northeast Charlotte on Tuesday. Her last known location was near 5800 Ryder Avenue, which is in south Charlotte.

Brown is described as 5’2″ tall, weighing 118 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a tan zip-up jacket, black Reeboke sweats, and a High Sierra black bookbag.

Anyone with information should call 9-1-1 immediately.
