Search underway for Provo aggravated robbery suspect

PROVO, Utah (ABC4) — Police are searching for a man who committed aggravated robbery early Thursday morning.

The Provo Police Department said the unidentified man committed the aggravated robbery at the Maverick services station, located at 325 South State Street. He was last seen on surveillance heading eastbound along 300 South.

The suspect is described as average height and build, and police said he was disguised with a black face covering and hat. He was wearing a navy jacket, light-colored hoodie, and had “unique teal and navy colored tennis shoes,” Provo police said.
