Scene cleared after ‘suspicious property’ reported in Uptown: CMPD

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police were conducting a suspicious property investigation in uptown Charlotte Wednesday afternoon.

The incident happened in the 100 block of North College Street.

“Please avoid the area,” CMPD announced Wednesday.

At 12:17 p.m., CMPD said the scene is now clear and roads are reopening.
