Holiday weekend offers some nice days, but showers and storms expected too

EVENING: Warm and muggy. Temps near 80.

TONIGHT: Scattered clouds and mild. Low 64.

FRIDAY: Mostly sunny and warm. High 84.

We are wrapping up our Thursday warm and muggy with temperatures running about 5 to 7 degrees warmer than average. Clouds will remain across the area tonight with a low chance for a shower.

Friday features some really nice weather with lots of sun for the afternoon as we warm into the mid 80s in the afternoon. We could start off our Saturday with some clouds, but as we burn off the clouds, it will help to fuel storm chances into the evening. Not all areas will see a storm Saturday evening, but we still expect a few to develop.

Sunday stays sunny and dry before we move into damp conditions for Monday. Showers will move through Monday morning, followed by scattered storms into the afternoon.
